A long conversation with Eduardo Coutinho serves as a pretext to revisit some of the scenes from many of his essential films, allowing us to review these images under the light of the interminable thought of what is undoubtedly one of the greatest artists ever known in Brazilian cinema. That being said, ‘A Treat of Coutinho’ is not a film of the past: it is, first and foremost, a film that questions our present and invites us to reflect upon not only the future of Brazilian art, but of a country where ethics seems like a strange dimension.
