Olhar de Cinema sets new date

In still not defined format, the festival will take place in the second week of October

Olhar de Cinema – Curitiba International Festival already has a new date for its 9th edition: from 7 to 15 October. As there is still no forecast for the return of activities and maintaining attention to the control of the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), it is not possible to specify whether the festival will be online or partially in person.

“It will not be the edition we were planning for this year, it will be an exceptional edition, but it is an exceptional and difficult time that we are going through”, says Eugenia Castello, director of the festival alongside Antonio Gonçalves Junior.

In addition to the new date, Olhar de Cinema will not let the previously scheduled period go blank and has prepared a special online edition, starting on June 3, with films that stood out in previous editions and other surprises to be announced soon.
