Synopsis
As young Sofia improvises rhymes with her friends in the community where she lives, her mother, Marli, organizes the clearing of the upscale apartment where she worked for much of her life as a caregiver. On this final workday, old dreams and new plans emerge on the horizon. In this multi-layered fiction film, Fernanda Bond and Valentina Homem sensitively immerse us in the intimate universe of the characters, revealing both affection and the power dynamics that course through the relationships of three generations of women with profound differences among them. Valentina Homem has been working as a screenwriter and director since 2002. Valentina has directed films such as "A Vó", "Coma Uma Câmera", "Landscaping", "Nova Ordem", "Brócolis", "Abigail", and "Não Há Foz Não Há Nascente". Her films have been screened at festivals such as Directors' Fortnight, Brasília, Vila do Conde, Cartagena, Havana, among others. Fernanda Bond is a dramaturg and stage director who has written and directed works such as "O Futuro", "A Menina e o Pote", and "Te Falo Com Amor e Ira". The two have been collaborating artistically for 20 years.
