Synopsis
We follow Cris and her family, residents of Ibura on the outskirts of Recife, who were forced to evacuate their house at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic due to the risk of collapse. Pregnant with her fourth child and striving for the approval of a tubal ligation, Cris works as a digital influencer while her family rebuilds their home. Tackling pertinent issues in contemporary Brazil, such as motherhood, entrepreneurship, and reproductive and housing rights, interwoven with moments of everyday levity, the film underscores the collective protagonism that enables the construction of a home, brick by brick, day after day.
