Synopsis
Taking on the caretaking duties for her alcoholic father, Cássia finds herself ensnared in a downward spiral. Inheriting her father’s roles as a taxi driver and cockfighting enthusiast, she gradually morphs into him, burdened with his anxieties and responsibilities. Amidst the struggle to care for others and herself, is there enough room left for us to grasp what truly belongs to us? Submerged in silences, Cássia must unearth her own desires, lest she drown in a dictated routine. (K.M.)
