Synopsis
The largest artistic occupation in Latin America, located in downtown São Paulo, intertwines the struggle for housing with contemplations on the possibilities of unfettered creation. In this documentary, where interventions in urban space and on screen imprint desires and movements for social transformation, the experience of a heterogeneous collective in search of autonomy is depicted from within. However, when a major multinational corporation sponsors a new edition of the Art Biennial, previously self-managed by resident groups, debates and reassessments also begin to permeate the building’s spaces.
