Synopsis
The Daisies’ March, held every four years in Brazil’s capital, is a grassroots movement led by women from rural and forest areas. Traveling by bus, we journeyed from Pernambuco with some of these women to attend the 2019 event, which took place during the first year of an ultraconservative government. Echoing essential feminist ideals, this collective and participatory documentary, filmed as a form of direct action, underscores that political organization emerges through encounters, friendships, intimate conversations, and artistic expressions.
