Synopsis
The opening visuals suggest that we are looking at a postcard. Yet, we must carefully confront this apparent reality and then translate what remains unseen. The pristine, azure waters of a Caribbean Island, once colonized by France, stand in stark contrast to the fabricated structures of a reimagined Martinique. Confronted with a looming curse threatening the island’s very existence, a group of young individuals reflects and engages in dialogue, drawing from intimate testimonials about the experience of belonging to a territory on the verge of vanishing.
