Synopsis
In this animation film, Tabarak Abbas draws inspiration from the story of her parents to craft a dystopian universe set during the Baghdad war. In this scenario, Siham and Rakan must battle invading robots to flee the city and safeguard the future of their newborn son. (G.M.)

Tabarak Abbas
Of Iraqi origin, Tabarak Abbas was born in the Valais and grew up in Geneva, Switzerland. When she was younger, she started painting, which led to her real passion, cinema. As a young lover of animation, she worked hard to make her films, even the craziest ones. She graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor in Film from HEAD-Geneva (Haute École d'Art et Design). She directed the films "Mawtini" (2023), "Les Fantômes du Paradis" (2021) and "Un Papillon" (2021).
