Synopsis
We closely follow the daily life of Ivo, a professional specializing in home palliative care, as she juggles her regular visits to patients with the limited time she can devote to her personal life. One of her patients is Solveigh, also her friend, who suffers from an incurable disease. Their close relationship will compel Ivo to make difficult decisions. The second feature film by German filmmaker Eva Trobisch is an intimate fiction that sensitively explores the relationship between caregiving, work, and autonomy over one’s own body, juxtaposing intense and contradictory emotions in the face of the everyday reality of death.
