Synopsis
Greice is a young Brazilian woman studying and working in Lisbon. One day, while at work, she meets Alfonso, sparking a series of events that ultimately lead her back to her native Ceará. In his third feature film, Leonardo Mouramateus skillfully intertwines themes of fabulation and mirrors, all set against the backdrop of the imaginary border that both unites (and separates) Brazil and Portugal. With sharp dialogue delivered by a captivating cast, the film navigates complex themes of identity with a sense of lightness and charm, particularly regarding social and gender relations. (E.V.)
