Synopsis
For the past five years, Edouard has been residing in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, with his daughter Zara. Since his wife departed, a cassette tape she sent remains their sole memento. Both father and daughter feel the growing void that this audio recording cannot alleviate, yet Edouard still perceives his wife as a living memory. (G.M.)

Samuel Suffren is a haitian director and producer. He’s working on a short film trilogy. His first film "Agwe" was selected at Locarno and won the best diaspora film at FESPACO. "Des Rêves en Bateaux Papiers" is his second film. He’s developing the feature documentary "Lòtbò" and his first fiction feature "Je M’appelle Nina Shakira".
