Synopsis
Zola is struggling to complete her family tree for a school project. Upon hearing about Zola’s feelings and uncertainties, her grandmother, Cícera, begins to share stories of their ancestors. Through this exchange, Zola comes to realize that her roots are much deeper than she had ever imagined. (G.M.)

Bea Gerolin
Bea Gerolin directed the documentary short film "Ferradura" (2017), which premiered at the Vitória Film Festival. Currently, she is developing the screenplay for "Encantadoras de Abelhas", her debut feature-length fiction film, which has been showcased in workshops and market events. Additionally, she is a visual artist and works professionally as an art director in short films, feature films, and audiovisual series.
