Synopsis
The filmmaking duo delves into the world of machinimas, immersing themselves in the everyday lives of the French community within an online server of the game GTA V. Navigating through virtual cultures and landscapes, the film investigates the individuals immersed in this world, where the cardinal rule is to never break character, exploring themes such as identity, work, religion, and love. Within the closed loop of this collective autofiction, which evolves into an ethnographic documentary, the film explores the delicate boundary between reality and simulacrum, creating a visual mosaic woven with various contemporary social and political issues.
