Synopsis
In the course of her duties as a judicial officer in Salvador, Íris delivers warrants and often finds herself compelled to carry out orders that directly oppose her beliefs. The job weighs heavily on her conscience. One day, following the disappearance of an activist after she delivers a warrant, Íris launches an investigation into the crime and becomes entangled in uncovering a major land-grabbing scheme. Claudio Marques directs this gripping thriller, intimately tracking its protagonist, a Black woman who embarks on a journey through the inner workings of the system while exploring her own roots.
