Synopsis
After pre-teen Amanda and her mother Sônia move into her grandmother Lucinda’s house, the property is burglarized. Though the three women survive, Amanda ends up with a facial wound. Ridiculed for her appearance, Amanda finds both the street and her home becoming hostile environments. When the young woman decides to confront her injury, she and her family embark on a journey of healing and emotional growth from their physical and emotional wounds.

Ana Catarina
Ana Catarina is a director and screenwriter. Currently, she’s working in post-production for her debut feature film, "Torniquete", starring Marieta Severo. Her debut short film, "Da Janela Vejo o Mundo", has been screened at various festivals, including the Rio Film Festival, Gramado, and the renowned FEST – New Directors, New Films, and was also a contender in the first round of the Brazilian Cinema Grand Prix in 2023. In 2022, she served as creative assistant director for the feature film "Barba Ensopada de Sangue", directed by Aly Muritiba.
