Synopsis
Glória, a 10-year-old girl, begins her school holidays with plans to accompany her mother, a nurse at a hospital, during her shifts. While exploring the hospital, she meets Sofia, another 10-year-old girl who is convinced her great-grandmother’s declining health, caused by Alzheimer’s, is worsened by her hospitalization. Both girls share the desire to leave that place, embarking on a bittersweet journey of mourning, reunions, and farewells.

Rafaela Camelo
Rafaela Camelo is a director and screenwriter from Brasília. In 2023, she co-directed the short film "As Miçangas" (Berlinale) with Emanuel Lavor. In 2019, she wrote and directed the short film "O Mistério da Carne" (Sundance, New Directors / New Films). Currently, she’s in the post-production stage of "Sangue do Meu Sangue," a feature film scheduled for release in 2025 with co-production from Brazil, Chile, and France. Since 2019, she has been a member of the Paradiso network, where she earned the Cabíria award for best screenplay for a fiction feature film.
