Synopsis
Ubatuba, a coastal town in São Paulo, is under alert for heavy storms. A topographer embarks on a mission to map landslide-prone areas and evaluate vulnerable housing along the hillsides. Along the winding roads, he runs into long-standing conflicts over land occupation, while his theodolite unveils glimpses of the past.

Francisco Miguez
Francisco Miguez is a filmmaker, editor, and film researcher based in São Paulo. With Quina filmes, he directed "Uma Invenção Sem Futuro" (2019) and "Ronda" (2019, co-directed with Mauricio Battistuci). Additionally, he has directed video-dances such as "Dobras" (2018, co-directed with Pedro Nishi) and "Todos os Pontos da Curva" (2019, in collaboration with Bibi Dória). From 2018 to 2022, he contributed as a writer to Cinética Magazine. In 2021, he participated in the RAW research residency at the DocLisboa and Márgenes festivals.
