Synopsis

Yepario is the matriarch of an Indigenous family of artists who convey ancestral wisdom through theater productions, films, and TV series. Strange events begin to impact the family’s health in their isolated rural home, unveiling messages from their ancestors and igniting a spiritual conflict that deeply unsettles them.

Vladimir Seixas

Vladimir Seixas has worked with documentaries since 2008, earning accolades at prestigious festivals. His feature film "ROLÊ" won both the Special Jury and Audience Awards at Olhar de Cinema, as well as Best Documentary at the Rio Film Festival. He also secured a nomination for the International Emmy for Best Documentary with "A Primeira Pedra". His short film "Yãmî Yah-Pá" earned the Canal Brasil Award for Best Short Film and the Kikito Award for Best Soundtrack at the Gramado Festival. Currently, Vladimir is in the final stages of production for the fiction feature "Yepario", as well as the short film "Linda do Rosário", while also in pre-production for his second fiction feature film, backed by funding from RioFilme.
