Synopsis
A creature driven by bloodlust and sexual desire is on the loose. It seduces, indulges, and then brutally murders its victims. No one knows for sure who or what is behind these murders, leaving the city in fear and the queer community on high alert – everyone is terrified by the monster’s insatiable appetite. Two women detectives take on the mission to unravel the mystery and put an end to Mamántula’s bloody rampage. (G.M.)

Ion de Sosa's first feature film "Sueñan Los Androides" premiered at the Berlinale in 2015 and had an extensive tour in festivals and international art centers. It is a free adaptation of Philip K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" and reflects the hallmarks of his cinematic style: the use of 16mm, the frontal and open framing, blending genres with sci-fi elements, a distinctive approach to time and composition, and a unique sense of humor.
