“Manodopera,” by Greek director Loukianos Moshonas, interweaves the work of a man renovating his apartment and conversations with a small group of youths on contemporary philosophical issues. “Manodopera”, meaning “work” in Italian, alternates between daytime, manual, and nighttime work, mental and abstract, in a flow of constant reconstruction of structures, whether of an apartment or thought.
