Fajr is an Arabic word, meaning sunrise, beginning, as well the call at dawn for the commencing of prayers. “Fajr” by the Spanish director Lois Patiño, treads among the sensorial nature of the images of figures and landscapes unveiled in the darkness of the Moroccan desert, oscillating between the concrete, the abstract, and the mirage.
