Indian director Ashim Ahluwalia offers a sensory statement of a modern painting pioneer in India, Akbar Padamsee, who made the experimental film “Events in a cloud chamber” in 1969. The 2016 film rescues the artist’s story as well the 1969 film, which was lost in space-time, creating, forty years later, the conditions for the recreation of the lost work.
