The Peruvian film “Empty”, by Carmen Rojas Gamarra, tells a story of a couple breaking up as it explores catalog photos from a furniture store and a synthetic voice narration. An experimental photo novella ironizing the superficial images and expectations we create, sold to us as harmonious images of relationships and home.
