“Couplets for an everlasting eve”, by the Basque collective Ageda Kopla Taldea and under the coordination of Begoña Vicario, takes inspiration from the traditional Catholic celebration in devotion to Saint Agatha, in the Basque country, to address in a sensorial and poetic manner the violent and oppressive structural sexism, society’s rooted gender inequality, which always places women on the eve of experiencing transformation.
