Jessica Luz
Jessica Luz is a producer based in Porto Alegre. She holds a BA from UNISINOS, where she also works as a professor, a specialist diploma in Economics of Culture (UFRGS) and Audiovisual Production (UAB), as well as an MA in Education (PUC-RS). In 2018 she founded the production company Vulcana Cinema and released the feature film "Tinta Bruta" by Filipe Matzembacher and Marcio Reolon at the 68th Berlinale - Panorama Section, winner of the Teddy and CICAE awards. Her recent works include "A Barqueira", by Sabrina Blanco (Mar del Plata IFF 2019) and the documentary "5 Casas" by Bruno Gularte Barreto (IDFA 2020). She is currently working in the production of the feature films "O Acidente" by Bruno Carboni, selected for the Torino Film Lab, "Casa no Campo" by Davi Pretto, winner of the World Cinema Fund, and "Vai e Vem", by Chica Barbosa and Fernanda Pessoa, the opening film of Olhar de Cinema - Curitiba International Festival 2022.
